Disk Space Sensor (Local or Remote)
The Disk Space sensor can monitor the disk space on either
a local drive or network shares.
The following field is particular to this sensor:
· Disk / Share
– enter the drive name of a local disk (C, D, etc.) or a shared name in UNC
notation (\\machine\share)
IPCheck Server Monitor will go into an error state if the
drive does not exist or is removed while being monitored.
Furthermore, the following checks can be applied:
· Lower Disk
Space Error Limit (MB) – Sensor will go into an error state if the current disk
space is below this value. Enter ‘-1’ to disable the check
· Upper Disk
Space Error Limit (MB) – Sensor will go into an error state if the current disk
space is above this value. Enter ‘-1’ to disable the check
· Lower Disk
Space Warning Limit (MB) – Sensor goes into a warning state if the current disk
space is below this value. Enter ‘-1’ to disable the check
· Upper Disk
Space Warning Limit (MB) – Sensor goes into a warning state if the current disk
space is above this value. Enter ‘-1’ to disable the check
